After graduating in 1984 from Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania with a BA in     Political Science, Trish served three years as a legal clerk in the US Army Judge        Advocate General (JAG) Corps in Bad Krueznach, Germany, specializing in administrative and contract law.  In 1990, Trish moved with her family to Sacramento, CA, and joined Fireman’s Fund Insurance Companies as a loss control consultant. Subsequent promotions and transfers over her 11-year career moved Trish and her children to San Jose and on to Fireman’s Fund’s corporate headquarters in Novato, CA, to underwrite insurance         programs for national accounts. In 2001 Trish and her kids left the city lights of the Bay behind and moved to Central Oregon for the quiet beauty of the Cascade Mountains and the ease of rural living.  She joined COLM Commercial in 2001 as a broker assistant and later became a commercial property manager and leasing agent.  She would return to insurance as a licensed producer in 2004, but in November 2006, Trish returned to COLM in November 2006, where she happily applies her legal, insurance, and real estate background to the daily operations of COLM.
