Certified Property Manager
 

A native Oregonian, Karen lived in Vancouver, Washington for 27 years where she raised her two daughters. As a Certified Court Reporter for the State of Washington, she started her own business, Brown Reporting & Associates, in 1987, and for 10 years she reported court proceedings, public hearings, depositions, and thousands of transcript pages. Karen developed carpel tunnel syndrome, so in 1997 she began working for a real estate developer in Vancouver.

Karen became a licensed real estate salesperson in March of 2001 and went on to become a Certified Property Manager in November of 2005. Karen has met and exceeded the standards of education,   ethics, and experience that the Institute of Real Estate Management requires for those who hold the CPM designation. 

Karen married in July of 2007 and moved to Bend in August, continuing her real estate career with COLM Commercial as their property manager. On the weekends, she enjoys riding her four horses, golfing, and skiing.
