Paula Van Vleck began her commercial real estate career in Dallas, Texas, in the early ‘80’s, working for a retail management and leasing company called the Tara Group.  She remained with the company until her move to Bend, Oregon, in 1994.

During her real estate career, Paula has specialized in retail leasing, shopping center             development, and sales.  She has participated in retail brokerage from all different sides of the business, including tenant representation, lease negotiation, site selection for tenants, consulting with developers on the development of shopping centers, commercial property sales, overseeing    tenant improvements, and working with various municipalities in the development process.

Paula works with local, regional, and national tenants, and has been instrumental in bringing a number of such tenants to Bend.  Among them are Walgreen’s (Redmond), Grocery Outlet, Hancock Fabrics, Hollywood Video, Outback Steakhouse, Quizno’s, Carl’s Jr., Del Taco, Sonic Drive In, Schuck’s Auto Supply,  Blockbuster (Redmond), New York City Sub (Redmond), Dollar Tree, Ace Hardware, and many of our downtown Bend restaurants and tenants.

Paula graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications/Public Relations from Principia College. She is a Certified Mediator in the State of Oregon and has been certified as a facilitator in a communications’ tool called Personality Dimensions, a Canadian firm.  Paula is very interested in    personal growth facilitation outside of her real estate career and loves her work with people in her real estate business. She is a very creative deal maker and gets the job done for people because of her tenacity, persistence, and ability to “think outside of the box."
