Maxine moved to Bend in 1978 from the San Francisco Bay Area with an extensive banking background specifically in the lending field. She was employed by a local bank before she became licensed as a real estate agent in 1980 primarily selling residential real estate. In 1984 she entered the residential and commercial management, leasing and sales business with a partner. In 1985 she became a broker, and she purchased her partner's share of the business in 1988. Maxine has attended several IREM classes to further her education in real estate. She was appointed a board member of the State of Oregon Real Estate Agency by Governor Kitzhaber in 1999, and she completed her term in 2007. Maxine is an    experienced commercial real estate broker and has been involved in the major growth of the commercial industry of Bend.
